Ira Gabriel sat down with us even with his massive responsibilities at the 2019 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

His current title is the Vice President of Marketing where he oversees marketing initiatives and supervises the marketing department and support teams.

In this interview Ira shares his views on the youth and their contributions to the automotive industry. His group has developed important outreach programs to recognize their efforts.

He talks about new products that focus on automotive safety. Vehicle makers have increased horse power and now aftermarket designers are providing safer brakes assemblies and electronic devices.

SEMA has always protected the automotive industry with their network of government lobbyist and continued monitoring of every states rights. They formed the SEMA Action Network (SANS) that adds national and statewide support.

Gabriel also served as the publisher of Hot Rod Magazine, responsible for managing the iconic media brand with Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour and Hot Rod Television. He joined Motor Trend as the publisher and later became the executive vice president.
