Discovery’s Sticker Shock is a show where owners let professional appraisers put a price on their favorite ride. As a host Dennis Pittsenbarger interviews the owner of a car to find out what they think their car is worth. Then Dennis along with the appraiser evaluates the car and determines what they think it’s worth. The owners are always shocked when they find out it’s worth more or far less than they thought.
This show is different because the cars are not rare or up for auction. Dennis picks cars that are everyday hot rods, show cars, dune buggies, dragsters and even a hearse. The owners are just as unique as the cars.
