Looking for a Car Show in Wisconsin?
(Season 15 EP 49)
This Week’s Topics:
What is the real reason Elkhorn Swap Meet and Car Show closed?
An interview with promoter Gary Esse. Gary started the Summer Elkhorn Swap Meet and Car Show over 36 years ago. This event, along with Gary’s two other shows, is what true car enthusiasts set their calendars by every year. They were the Spring Jefferson, Summer Elkhorn and the Fall Jefferson Auto Swap and car shows. They were always the “trifecta” of shows.
To the surprise of everyone Gary announced that the Elkhorn show will be canceled for good. Not just for next summer but for all time.
That announcement started a barrage of accusations. It was because of those damn COVID restrictions. It was because the 2021 show wasn’t that well attended. It was because – fill in the blank here.
Gary wants to set the record straight.
