Mike and Jim Ring of the Ring Brothers plus Chris Slack GM’s High-Performance Parts.
Ring Brothers –
We are checking in with Wisconsin’s own award-winning builder and automobile products manufacture. What have they been up to? How is their products division doing with all these “stay at home” quarantine orders? Are they planning any new builds for the 2020 SEMA show and how are they handling the stress of topping last year’s Builder of the Year award?
Check out their website for a complete product listing of hinges, door products, trim and accessories, body parts and apparel. All designed and manufactured in Spring Green, Wisconsin. www.ringbrothers.com
You can see many of their builds. If you haven’t had the chance to see a Ring build up close than you will appreciate all the detailed photos with each build.
How about going back to school with the brothers? They have complete video tutorials on body work and carbon fiber. Check out Ringbrothers University tab.
Chris Slack –
Chris Slack is the Parts Manager at Ivan Gandrud Chevrolt in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. Having a title of parts manager seems a little understated. He’s more like a businessman clothed in a parts uniform. With his guidance the GM Parts Department is regarded one of the best in the country. Not just because the massive warehouse is always stocked, but because he believes in the people he serves. His award-winning team know parts and they know customer service.
It’s known that Gandrud is the leader in stocking GM High Performance Parts. Chris’s vision to keep a large inventory paid off during the COVID-19 quarantine. With GM struggling with factories slowing down and small suppliers closing up – Gandrud has been able to keep supplying dealerships, repair shops and back yard mechanics with the parts they need.
Every day they send out over 20 trucks with delivery parts throughout the Midwest. And they continue to ship products around the world.
Chris helps out all car enthusiast by supporting Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio, hosting the Gandrud Car Show and traveling the country to talk about what consumers need.
Check out gmperformancemotor.com. You will see just how huge and comprehensive Gandrud is.
