310: Turning Back the Dial

Show Date: 05/23/2020

(Season 14 EP 21)

Captn’ Bob and Arlo are going to turn back the dial with great interviews and the music you all have been asking for.

We heard from many of you asking about our favorite interviews. So we went back into our vast library and pulled out some really cool ones. Then we trimmed them back from their original broadcast tapes to find the best parts of the conversation. In this show we went back to Jay Leno talking about how much he likes Wisconsin and a little bit about the future of electric cars. We found an interview with Dave Shuten before his TV show Car Kings aired on Motortrend. It was a couple of years ago that we called him to talk about finding and rebuilding Ed Roth’s Orbitron. Then we will replay portions of an interview we did with Javier “Shorty” Ponce. People are still wondering why he left TV’s Iron Resurrection at the height of it’s popularity. He answers that question in an interview we did last year.

In this show you will get a lot of music. We continue to get comments on our music selection and how you would like us to expand our show to include more of it. Even though our show is basically a talk show we do sneak in a song or two. Well, we can’t afford to expand the show, but we can dedicate this show to more music and less talk. We have a huge library that we have accumulated through purchases, friends and listeners. So crank up the radio.
