300: Changes To Wisconsin’s Collector & Hobby Plates?

Show Date:

(Season 14 EP 11)

Our guest will be Colby Martin who represents all automotive enthusiast to the government through the SEMA Action Network (SAN).

Recently, two Wisconsin State representatives proposed automotive registration changes to acquiring Collector Plates. These changes would RESTRICT ELIGIBILITY AND INCREASE FEES FOR COLLECTOR AND HOBBYIST VEHICLES (see SAN notice)

It should be noted that the Wisconsin Specialty Vehicle Alliance has been monitoring these changes and have been in contact with personnel of Wisconsin’s Department of Motor Vehicles. (for more information)

In this interview we are asking Colby what the process is for changing laws and when should we start mobilizing our automotive advocates. He has a lot of experience with national, state and local government officials.
