Our guest will be Scott Johnson and Warren Heir, Jr.
Mama Tried Motorcycle Show
A couple of years ago they decided to put together a unique motorcycle show that doesn’t discriminate against machine. The idea is to bring all camps of bike enthusiasts together in conversation. Just hang out and enjoy each other and their rides.
The only discrimination is that once a bike has been shown it cannot come back for another season. This assures that every show is unique.
From choppers to mini bikes, dirt to ice tracks, jet propel to knuckle heads, historical to modern, roundy-round to straight line racing, cruisers to bar-hoppers – only 100 bikes are selected for each show. Entries are from all over the globe and are shipped here for display.
The event is held in Milwaukee’s historic Rave / Eagles Ballroom. You will find yourself wandering it’s beautiful maze of floors and inlets leaving you to discover show related vendors and events.
The grand ballroom is where the machines are on display. Above is the floating sculptured ceiling. The bikes are resting on the nostalgic wooden floor where people have danced for decades. Surrounding the floor are box seats which house additional vendors and interesting displays.

Flat Out Friday
This is a must see to believe event. Bikes racing on an oval cement floor coated with sticky “Doctor Pepper” syrup.
There is a Pro Series that has the bike reaching speeds so fast that they become a blur. You will find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for something to go wrong.
Then there is the goofy riders dressed in costumes sitting on machines that don’t have any business being out there. This hilarious race will have you laughing you monkey ass off.
You will catch yourself cheering on the little tikes-on-bikes. Barely able to walk however they can balance a two wheeler.
Expect the unexpected to happen. Between each race there is unusual entertainment like a wedding ceremony or the year a full blown wrestling match happened.
