Emily with Flying Sparks Garage.
These two are modern day Youtubers, social influencers and love sick kids. This a story of a working mechanic getting the pretty super model. They kind of remain you of that 80’s Billy Joel song “Uptown Girl”. Aaron is a professional mechanic and Emily is a super model.
Around 2015 they started a Youtube channel called Flying Sparks Garage. Their videos are about working on automotive, marina and anything else that happened to come along. Their videos chronical them showing the viewers how to repair simple to complex jobs. What is compelling to see is Emily is learning these repairs along with the rest of us viewers. Something sparked audience because their channel went straight to having over 200k followers.
This caught the attention of the people at the Motortrend channel. They are always looking new content and realized Aaron and Emily had a fresh approach to DIY automotive repairs. In 2018 the channel launched “Live Love Wrench” with episodes of the two love birds working on repairs and modifications.
We had the pleasure of sitting with these two at last year’s 2021 Iola Car Show and Swap meet. They shared their adventures and a few new announcements of other channels they are working on. As always – they will do this together.
