Tire Rescue

They are a mobile tire sales and installation service in the Metro Milwaukee area.

Customers can purchase tires through us or through the retailer of their choice (we are also an approved installer for Tire Rack.com) and we will go to their location whether that is work, home, the park etc. to mount/balance/install their tire for them. During the weekdays, if we don’t have other jobs scheduled we may take “emergency” calls for people that need roadside assistance, but this is not the main focus of our business.

Fleet service is also a good portion of our business; various businesses that need to keep their vehicles on the road to keep their business running utilize our mobile service when they need tires because of our ability to get this service done with minimal down time.

They are a tire shop that saves you the hassle of dropping your vehicle off at a shop and waiting by providing mobile tire installation service.

Hitting the Road for Hospice

Camp GLOW (Giving Loved Ones Wings) is a grief support day camp for kids and their parent(s) or guardian(s) who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Staffed by Home Health United Spiritual & Grief Counselors and specially trained volunteers, the day camp gives kids the opportunity to share their grief in a safe space.

Since children often experience grief differently than adults, Camp GLOW is designed to specifically address children’s grief. During breakout sessions, campers decorate memory boxes to hold remembrances of their loved one, create scrapbooks of visual memories, and of course have plenty of time to laugh and play.

Because loss affects whole families, Camp GLOW requires that a parent/guardian attend Camp GLOW with the child to learn about the grieving process, including differences between adult and child grief. Camp GLOW holds a concurrent session for the adults while the children are involved in their various activities. Both the adult session and the camp are led by Home Health United-Hospice Grief Counselors. The adult group will provide information and tools for the adults who are trying to help their children deal with grief and also grieving themselves.

Camp GLOW is offered free of charge thanks to the generous support of donors to the Home Health United-Visiting Nurse Service Foundation. Lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day are provided.

Hitting The Road For Hospice event will be held on October 7th, 2017. It will start at the Barn Resturant in Baraboo, WI. The ride will take a scenic tour through the countryside. The moneys will be raised by registration fees, silent auction and raffles. Included will be a giant cookout.
