Guardians of the Children Mission Statement
The mission of Guardians of the Children (GOC) is to recognize and react to child abuse and educate the public to do the same; to serve as advocates to provide strength and stability to families in crisis; and be an answer to the prayer of an abused child or teen for courage, support and protection.
“Don’t Let Your Silence Drown Out Their Cries”
We serve as a public benefit organization. Our vision is to improve the quality of life in our community by educating the public and making them aware of the steps to take in order to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child abuse.
Guardians of the Children is a Biker Organization also dedicated to protecting the victims of child abuse. Our alliances as Bikers allow us the ability to call upon resources that might not generally be available to the public at large.
We partner with Children Advocacy Agencies, Victim Assistance Groups and others to raise awareness of the prevalence of child abuse. Guardians of the Children assist these agencies by being one of many resources available to them and introduce the child into our organization where it has been determined it would be beneficial in order to lend support to their family and at the same time protect that child.
Our members share a common goal in that we enjoy the open road on our iron horses and are here to convey an important message; ‘We stand as one prepared to protect this priceless resource’

LaLa is a member in the Guardians of the Children Belle City which covers Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties in South East Wisconsin.
The Guardians are a motorcycle based group that works with the child and guardian who have fallen victim to a case of abuse or neglect, physical or neglect based to help with their possible needs.
The group starts by discussing the situation and needs of the child with their parent or guardian to see if their group can be of an assistance. If there is a good fit, the Guardians adopt the child into their group where they meet everyone and receive a vest (like the Guardians wear).
From then on, the Guardians are available anytime the child feels afraid. They will attend court proceedings with the child (* did you know – in many cases parents and family members are not allowed in the court room with the victim child). If the child is afraid, Guardians will even stay overnight as many nights as the child needs.
Volunteers for the Guardians come from all walks of life and their time is entirely on a volunteer basis. If there is not a group in the area where the child has a need the closest chapter helps out. If there is an event the chapters work together.
The chapter that LaLa belongs to have a website http://www.bellecitygoc.com/ and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/GOCBelleCity/
To raise funds, the Belle City Chapter will be holding a Classic Car & Bike Show on April 23rd. Details can be found here – https://wisconsinhotrodradio.com/event/wheels-child-abuse-classic-car-bike-show/
