110: Darryl Starbird, custom car icon will be coming to Milwaukee, WI

Custom car builder and designer Darryl Starbird has brought a half-dozen of his cars from the National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum to the Oklahoma State Fair. The museum is located in Afton. This photo taken Monday, Sep. 17, 2012, Photo by Jim Beckel, The Oklahoman.

Darryl will be coming to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 18th.

Darryl just finished his latest creation and he will be bringing it to the Granville BID’s Annual Car, Truck and Bike Spectacular. Along with his historic “Li’l  Coffin” automobile he will be bringing his brand new 1961 Ford Thunderbird “The Starbird 2000” car.

This American custom car icon and hot rod designer will be signing autographs at this event. He will be selecting a vehicle to be awarded the Granville “Reach for the Stars” trophy. There will be 30 trophies in various classes.

The event will have music by Captn’ Bob and Arlo, several food trucks and plenty of cars to look at in a safe environment.
